Product Passport Polish

This phase added independently degradable Journey, Eco, Verdict, and Recipe sections; richer product presentation; accessibility improvements; and four interface locales.

Current interpretation

  • Producer-fed Journey and Eco data now come from a synchronized in-memory projection, not the former database brand catalog.
  • Open Food Facts remains a community fallback with explicit unverified provenance.
  • Recipe providers sit behind RecipeSource; provider failure affects only the Recipes section.
  • Product photos require an exact source, license, and attribution record. A statement that an image is “real” is not sufficient provenance.
  • Provider pricing, authentication, quota, and caching terms are volatile and must be checked against the selected provider before deployment.

Localization gap

The Italian, Spanish, and French strings were initially machine-authored and have not been accepted as native-reviewed translations. Localization is therefore incomplete. Track review by locale and string set, and do not claim production-quality localization until a qualified reviewer approves it.

The current source ownership and scan sequence are in Domain and Key Flows.
